Colored craft wire is copper wire has many layers of flexible lacquer-like coatings in colors or clear
to create the look of the wire. It is sturdy, and in larger gauges can be hammer texturized. The Gold
colored wire is a jewelers brass wire with a clear coat, and the Silver wire is copper plated with silver
and then clear coated. The coatings, both colored and clear will prevent tarnishing.
